Linda Thurman was a French Quarter hippie in the ‘60’s, New York theatre lighting designer in the 70’s, Hollywood executive in the 80’s, and Digital Revolutionary in the 90’s. Prior to retirement in 2013, Linda was a media professor, strategic consultant, and co-owner of Louisiana’s Emerald Bayou Studios. She is the author of Hollywood South: Glam
our, Gumbo, and Greed published by Pelican.

For the dessert on her career, Linda is the founder and executive director of Movie Poster Archives, a nonprofit
devoted to preserving movie posters and paper memorabilia.
